At first, I was really enjoying this First Person Sci-fi shooter but as time goes by… every level and difficulty is getting kind of crazy. The enemy AI is getting pretty annoying especially on that part where you faces tons of flying bugs. it’s quite impossible to get myself out of that level… so hard, i want to crash that DVD game to bits. but don’t get me wrong, there are some good sides to this game.

Turok uses the Unreal 2.5 engine so expect an eye candy graphics here. Weapons are cool and the story will suck you in. but the gameplay and annoying difficulty might turn off some FPS fanatics out there.

Turok is worth the price for a sale bin ( around $6 up ), but buying this game in full retail will be such a waste for your wallet.

Mass Effect 2 - Fight for the Lost

I’m a huge fan of Sci-Fi RPG’s. When Mass Effect 1 1^st came out to PC and Xbox 360, I was pretty much excited.. I got even more crazed out when I heard the Bioware was developing the game. Bioware is known for making Top-Class RPG’s such as Neverwinter Nights and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. When I heard About Mass Effect 2 last year, I got excited more than I felt on Mass Effect 1 last 2008. Then Last January, Mass Effect 2 were on the store shelves on every game store and I immediately bought the game eventhough we are on a tight budget.

The Illusive Man

Mass Effect 2’s story features the events after Saren and the Reapers were defeated. You still play as Commander Shepard, the fearless leader of Normandy and you have a new breed of enemy known as the Collectors. You’ll be recruited by the Illusive Man leader of Cereberus, a new somewhat corrupted organization who’s after the Collectors. *Spoiler Alert! You need to play this game instead of reading it! Trust me.

Graphics,  Gameplay and Sounds:

Mass Effect 2 uses state-of-the-art Unreal Engine 3, the same engine used on Gears of War and Mass Effect 1 although Mass Effect 2 has more updates than the old ones. It still plays like Mass Effect 1, Real-Time Shooter with lots of fire power. Although, this time your weapons don’t rely and Cooling time… instead, your weapon uses ammo/bullets so expect more adrenaline action throughout the game, reloading makes the game more exciting. You’ll have tons of quests which you can earn hundreds of Achievement Points. NPC’s and people around the system are so life-like and very busy plus galaxies and planetary structures are so detailed. Sounds and Musical Scores are superb and Voice acting are Hollywood Driven.

Mass Effect 2 is a must have for your Xbox 360 *nuff said.

Welcome to Arkham Asylum

Years have passed and all Batman Games were either dull or utterly ugly. Then Rocksteady and Eidos came to the rescue and made not just the best Batman game, but also one of the most entertaining game of 2009, Batman: Arkham Asylum. Batman: Arkham Asylum features a great story that will suck-in anyone who plays it, A solid action packed gameplay, and tons of detective work which by the way is the most important part of the game… why? well, you’re Batman/Bruce Wayne – the world’s greatest detective.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is created  on Unreal Engine 3.0 Technology similar to Gears of War so expect the graphics to be Superb and presentable. Character modeling and textures are at it’s peak, you’ll need a High-Definition TV to enjoy all it’s glory. The environment and level structures are excellent although some levels/stages are quite boring, particularly on the sewer part.

Now the Gameplay: Arkham Asylum features an excellent action sequences, think of it as Tekken but in simpler controls and mechanics. Batman’s fighting moves are artistic, jaw-dropping and action packed, especially the executable counter moves…. they’re pretty addictive. The game is challenging although once you get the moves right, the gameplay seems somewhat incredibly easy. You’ll encounter massive detective work around Arkham Asylum as The Riddler will place tons of riddles, mind blowing challenges and puzzles. You can use your Detective mode vision to solve all puzzles in the game. Achievement points and other unlockables in the game makes Batman: Arkham Asylum even more addictive than any other action games. You can unlock tons of challenges and maps for you to play with after you have beaten the Story Mode.

Batman: Arkham Asylum can be enjoyed by both Batman and Non-Batman Fans alike. My advice is for you to grab a copy now before it runs out. Being the first Super Hero/Comic book based game that ever received an Editor’s Choice award and a potential nomination for 2009′s Game of the year, The game’s value may go up the roof for years to come.
