Marcus Fenix and company returns to the Smash Hit sequel Gears of War 2. Gears of War 2 features a more tolerable story than the first game, well it still have many unresolved plots but it has more sense than the first Gears of War. The story evolves around the Locusts aliens and world invasion plus add-on stories such as Finding Maria – Dominic Santiago’s Wife and more.

The gameplay is still a Tactical-Shooter like the first game with new weapons, vehicles, Chainsaw match and the Brumak. Multi-player is incredibly addictive too but if you’re not into online game or don’t have an internet connection to your Xbox 360, you can play the very addictive Horde mode. It gives a Multiplayer feel and at the same time you’ll unlock massive achievement points.

Gears of War 2 was my first reason why I bought my Xbox 360. With it’s gripping, intense and rewarding gameplay, GOW2 is highly recommended for everyone with an Xbox 360 unit.

Gears of war features new type of gameplay in the shooter category. Feel the power of FPS through a third person perspective, plus you can hide though walls, blind shooting, chainsaw your enemies and even torture them to death.Gears of War uses state-of-the-art Unreal Engine 3.0 which makes this game an absolute eye-candy especially for those who adores Sci-Fi wargames.

The story…. Well, it’s kinda non-sense in someways but it doesn’t destroy the excitement, thanks to the excellent and funny voice acting… You can hear a lot of trash talks here.

The Good: Excellent shooting mechanics, Strategic gameplay, Superb Graphics especially in HD, Unreal 3.0, Funny trash talks from the Gears, Excellent Multiplayer Experience!!!

The Bad: Non-Sensical Plot, some small frame glitch

The Ugly: Highly addictive, you won’t be able to sleep
