Terminator: Salvation

Terminator SalvationMovie to Video Game tie-ins doesn’t always work out OK. Sometimes Movie to Video Game adaptations turn out so bad, Video game stores has no choice but to sell these uberly bad game on sale bin prices.

Luckily Terminator Salvation was not that all bad, but it wasn’t good either. Terminator Salvation features the same gameplay style as Gears of War although a little hard to control and it’s quite cliched.

The Game design is in 3rd person view with decent graphics and good sound effects. It’s very rare nowadays to have this good game design in a movie-game tie-in title.

Gameplay is dull. even with it’s Gears of War inspired style, Terminator Salvation still suffers from cliched controls and ultra repetitive shooting mechanics. Although, Terminator fans may find this game intriguing especially when you want to have an instant 1000 gamer point on your Xbox Live Gamertag.

Overall, Terminator Salvation is just as good as a sale bin product. If you see this title below $10, you cannot go wrong grabbing this title

Splinter Cell Conviction

I got excited about the new Splinter Cell game exclusive for Xbox 360 and the PC. I downloaded Splinter Cell: Conviction Demo a few days ago and my first impression was DAMN!! This is what an Espionage game should be. Splinter Cell: Conviction captures what is really like to be a Stealth One-Man-Army agent. Controls are easy to execute especially that Killshot/Headshot move.

Plants vs. Zombies

“Plants vs. Zombies” has been named the 2009 Spike TV Video Game Awards nominee for PC Game of the Year and Downloadable Game of the Year. This only proves that Plants vs. Zombies is not just an ordinary PC game with “cartoon-y” graphics but one that you can also be addicted to as you level up on the adventure.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Perhaps one of the most exciting game I have played on the Nintendo DS. As an avid fan of the Kingdom Hearts Series ( Except for Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories which sucked big time ), I find this Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days as an excellent Action/RPG for a portable console.
