Sometimes Movie to Video Game adaptations turn out so bad, Video game stores has no choice but to sell these uberly bad game on sale bin prices.

Luckily Terminator Salvation was not that all bad, but it wasn’t good either. Terminator Salvation features the same gameplay style as Gears of War although a little hard to control and it’s quite cliched.

The Game design is in 3rd person view with decent graphics and good sound effects. It’s very rare nowadays to have this good game design in a movie-game tie-in title.

Gameplay is dull. even with it’s Gears of War inspired style, Terminator Salvation still suffers from cliched controls and ultra repetitive shooting mechanics. Although, Terminator fans may find this game intriguing especially when you want to have an instant 1000 gamer point on your Xbox Live Gamertag.

Overall, Terminator Salvation is just as good as a sale bin product. If you see this title below $10, you cannot go wrong grabbing this title

This game proves that “First Impressions Don’t Last”. Turok is a revamp of a classic Dinosaur hunting FPS, this new version of Turok features a futuristic Avatar-like setting but with a Jurassic Park twist. You are stranded in a Dinosaur packed planet and you make your way out of that planet.

At first, I was really enjoying this First Person Sci-fi shooter but as time goes by… every level and difficulty is getting kind of crazy. The enemy AI is getting pretty annoying especially on that part where you faces tons of flying bugs. it’s quite impossible to get myself out of that level… so hard, i want to crash that DVD game to bits. but don’t get me wrong, there are some good sides to this game.

Turok uses the Unreal 2.5 engine so expect an eye candy graphics here. Weapons are cool and the story will suck you in. but the gameplay and annoying difficulty might turn off some FPS fanatics out there.

Turok is worth the price for a sale bin ( around $6 up ), but buying this game in full retail will be such a waste for your wallet.

Up until now I still love playing World War 2 games. Ubisoft and Gearbox Software released Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway last 2008 and I have to say that this was a different experience from other World War Shooters.
Gameplay:
Brother’s in Arms: Hell’s Highway is focused on Squad Based gameplay. You can give orders to your teams, where to cover and shoot although your allies’ A.I. are very inconsistent, sometimes they are smart but most of the time, they are extremely brain-dead.
Just like in Gears of War, you can hide behind walls and shoot down your enemies. it’s very efficient and useful especially if you’re under heavy fire.

Graphics:
I’m really not impressed on how Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway rendered. Graphics are quite outdated compared to Call of Duty World at War. Cut-scenes are dull plus the facial structures are quite funny.

Sounds and Gore Factor:
Sounds are great, Gunshots and Explosions are mixed very well. Blood splatter and Camera Actions works very well, you can see blood squirting out of your enemy’s head mixed with Slow Motion Effects.
Overall Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway is a decent game, but not good enough to compete with Call of Duty.

I just finished this 3 year old game and I would like to say Assassin’s Creed is one killer game. I’m a big fan of medieval era and assassins, a perfect combination for an Xbox 360 game.

The story is focused on Altair, the legendary and top assassin in the Creed. Your mission is to eliminate corrupt officials and help the helpless… cheesy but it feels very rewarding to finish each missions, including side missions too.

Graphics is outstanding, well detailed environment and characters. 3D rendering and textures looks incredible especially in 1080p High Definition TV sets.

Gameplay – Assassin’s Creed is an Open-World action game, you can kill anyone you like, throw knives, torture people, ride horses, etc… You can run over walls, run on top of buildings and jump from high towers. Assassin’s creed is very fun to play especially with those tons of achievement points.

Overall, Assassin’s Creed is a very well refined game, there are some glitches but nothing annoying.

Used-to-be a Playstation Exclusive fighting game has finally made through the Xbox 360. Tekken 6 features Jaw Dropping High-Definition graphics, new characters and lots and lots of new killer moves. ;Namco shocked the video game world when Tekken 6 was announced as a multi-platform game. Tekken 6 instantly became a top seller for at least 2 weeks.

The gameplay has changed a lot since those previous Tekken versions. Moves and combos are now more focused on Air Juggles and non-stop combinations attacks. Tekken 6 moves are now more accurate than ever… and by accurate i mean new moves are now based on real martial arts such as Law’s Jeet Kune Do, Asuka’s Aikido/Judo moves, Jin’s Mixed Martial Art/Karate style and many more. Professional Tekken players and Button-Mashers will surely enjoy hours of gameplay and brutal takedowns.

New contents are enjoyable too such as the campaign mode and Ghost Fighting mode. In the campaign mode, you’ll start as Lars.. The new Tekken character who is some kind of a government agent solving some corporate/science crime. You can choose other characters throughout the game although i have not finished the campaign mode because i find it kind of boring dull and unexciting.

If you are into fighting games and multiplayer, Tekken 6 is the game for you console. Challenging, Enjoyable and Eye-Catchy graphics are the main meat of Tekken 6. Be sure to get a copy to see what i’m talking about.

I’m a huge fan of Sci-Fi RPG’s. When Mass Effect 1 1st came out to PC and Xbox 360, I was pretty much excited.. I got even more crazed out when I heard the Bioware was developing the game. Bioware is known for making Top-Class RPG’s such as Neverwinter Nights and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. When I heard About Mass Effect 2 last year, I got excited more than I felt on Mass Effect 1 last 2008. Then Last January, Mass Effect 2 were on the store shelves on every game store and I immediately bought the game eventhough we are on a tight budget.

The Illusive Man

Mass Effect 2’s story features the events after Saren and the Reapers were defeated. You still play as Commander Shepard, the fearless leader of Normandy and you have a new breed of enemy known as the Collectors. You’ll be recruited by the Illusive Man leader of Cereberus, a new somewhat corrupted organization who’s after the Collectors. *Spoiler Alert! You need to play this game instead of reading it! Trust me.

Wage war against the Collectors

Graphics, Gameplay and Sounds:

Mass Effect 2 uses state-of-the-art Unreal Engine 3, the same engine used on Gears of War and Mass Effect 1 although Mass Effect 2 has more updates than the old ones. It still plays like Mass Effect 1, Real-Time Shooter with lots of fire power. Although, this time your weapons don’t rely and Cooling time… instead, your weapon uses ammo/bullets so expect more adrenaline action throughout the game, reloading makes the game more exciting. You’ll have tons of quests which you can earn hundreds of Achievement Points. NPC’s and people around the system are so life-like and very busy plus galaxies and planetary structures are so detailed. Sounds and Musical Scores are superb and Voice acting are Hollywood Driven.

Mass Effect 2 is a must have for your Xbox 360 *nuff said.

I have been playing Magic the Gathering trading card game since the 4th Edition Came out, that was 1995 I think. Then I sold my deck to get myself an upgrade to my PC. Since then I have been playing Magic the Gathering: Planeswalker, one of the most convincing Magic Gathering game that time.

Then Wizards of the Coast and Xbox Live released Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers on Xbox 360 as a Downloadable Xbox Live Arcade game. The game costs 400 Microsoft Points ( $5 ), pretty cheap for a well packaged game.

Just like the real thing!

Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planewalkers features the same concept as the real thing. You battle your way through the game using your in game decks/cards. Duels of the Planeswalker uses brand new decks/cards and new rules, this may turn down some old school MTG players but you’ll like it if you get the hang of it.

Graphics are solid, Gameplay is a blast especially if you’re an avid MTG fan. The levels are challenging and you can collect a lot of powerful cards throughout the game not to mention a lot of achievement points as well.

In every great game, there are always downsides. Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers suffers from extremely annoying repetetive background music and confusing control scheme. You can’t virtually create your very own deck although you can edit some but that’s just about it.

Overall Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers is a pretty awesome game. For just $5, MTG is a must have for your Xbox 360.

Halo 3 is considered the most played video game of all time. At first I didn’t find Halo 3 exciting because I was just playing the campaign mode. The story was good but there are a lot of dull moments in the campaign mode. Just like the other 2 games from Xbox 1, you’ll play as Master Chief. As usual, you’ll hunt and shoot covenant forces but this time you’ll be tagged along Arbiter. Like I said, the story was good but the gameplay in the campaign mode lack climatic moments.
Then I tried redeeming the 2 Day Multiplayer trial code I got from Modern Warfare 2 and logged in my Halo 3 game in the Matchmaking Multiplayer and all I can say is WHOA!!
I was playing the Matchmaking Social Slayer game for hours. I got hooked pretty much in the Multiplayer mode of Halo 3, then I just realized the main meat of Halo 3 was in the Multiplayer Mode. The campaign was just a small bonus and it quite sucked.

Halo Box!

Sword Fight!

Operation Dessert Storm! LOL

The Graphics were pretty awesome especially if your Xbox 360 is hooked on an HDTV.
The Sounds were good too although I was not impressed on the musical scores.
The Gameplay is Awesome in Multiplayer! Matchmaking Social Rumble pit and Slayer ROCKS!!

But I wouldn’t recommend playing the campaign mode except if you’re collecting achievement points, Halo 3 is packed with achievement points.
Controls are perfect! Halo3 was meant to be played on console. You’ll have to play the game to find out for yourself.
Overall, Halo 3 is a must have if you have an Xbox 360. Your Gold Subscription is nothing without Halo 3.

Bioware has done it again. Dragon Age: Origins has got to be one of the longest, epic and enjoyable RPG to date. You can choose from 3 character classes: Warrior, Rogue or Mage. Each class has it’s own story but I didn’t get a chance to finish or play the Rogue class and Mage. Why? I played and finished the game as a Dual-Wielded Warrior for almost 3 months with the total of 50 Hours game time and I have no plans on playing it again anytime soon. This is not a bad thing, for those 3 months of playtime, I never actually any other game besides Dragon Age: Origins. The story telling is excellent, weapons and character customization are addictive, and the side quests feels very rewarding. To make the story short, you’ll get very hooked with Dragon Age: Origins and it will suck you in for months.

Dragon Age Battle

You’ll play as a Grey Warden and protect Ferelden from Darkspawn invasion and the Blight. Along the way, you’ll get to meet other playable characters such as Morrigan, Sten, Wynne and many more. You can customize each of your playable characters, from stats distribution to weaponry. While you progress, you can also customize your character to become a dual class character which can be very useful against the Archdemon ( The big boss of them all, it took me 1 week to kill that sucker ). You can also choose your own path either you become very unlikeable to other people or you become a hero. With these features, Dragon Age: Origins is now considered to be an Open-Ended RPG.

An Ogre!! Shrek can kiss his ass

Graphics are superb, Textures and special effects are excellent although sometimes you’ll experience glitch hiccups when you are in battle. Save game bugs can be troublesome too.

Sounds and voice acting are Bioware’s specialties so we can skip that part.

Gameplay is excellent although controls are quite annoying especially if you are using mages. The PC Version is way better when it comes to controls

All in all Dragon Age: Origins is a must buy for RPG/ Action fans alike. You’ll never regret purchasing this game.

Kratos is making way to the Handheld world. God of War: Chains of Olympus is another title release by Sony Computer Entertainment of America. GOW:COO promises extensive action gameplay just like the past PS2 titles. The game delivers excellent graphics for a handheld console, heart stopping and an enjoyable gameplay, and an interesting Myth-Greeky type of storyline.

God of War: Chains of Olympus SC1

Another masterpiece from Sony Entertainment. GoW:Chains of olympus uses state-of-the-art graphics engines, It delivers incredible 3-D in game animation, cool flashing special effects and great texturing on all parts. There maybe some unnoticable graphical glitches, this will not get in the way throughout the game. This is one of the best grapihcal presentation that Sony has to offer for PSP gamers

Great sound mixes from background music to sound effects. Voice acting is great too, you can almost feel Kratos’ anger everytime he gets pissed. There maybe some flaws for other gamers about GoW’s sounds, try to put on headsets or PC seakers to experience sound’s greatness of this game

God of War: Chains of olympus delivers pretty addictive gameplay. You can execute incredible combos and some special power to use against enemies. The strong engaging storyline will also inspire gamers to play this non-stop to follow the main plot of the story. The bad thing here is it’s disappointingly short, you can finish this within 7-8 hours straight.

Good control scheme for some PSP experts but this game has somewhat irrataqting controls. Analog stick can get in the way with the movements of the character, don’t even start with the dodge roll, it’s nearly impossible to execute it at the right time. Chains of Olympus could have done a better job on the controls and some camera angles.

Blood and more Blood can be seen in the game mixed with Topless chicks. This game is for mature players, extremely not for kids. PSP action players will definitely enjoy this.
