Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planewalkers

Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers
I have been playing Magic the Gathering trading card game since the 4th Edition Came out, that was 1995 I think. Then I sold my deck to get myself an upgrade to my PC. Since then I have been playing Magic the Gathering: Planeswalker, one of the most convincing Magic Gathering game that time.
Then Wizards of the Coast and Xbox Live released Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers on Xbox 360 as a Downloadable Xbox Live Arcade game. The game costs 400 Microsoft Points ( $5 ), pretty cheap for a well packaged game.

Just like the real thing!
Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planewalkers features the same concept as the real thing. You battle your way through the game using your in game decks/cards. Duels of the Planeswalker uses brand new decks/cards and new rules, this may turn down some old school MTG players but you’ll like it if you get the hang of it.
Graphics are solid, Gameplay is a blast especially if you’re an avid MTG fan. The levels are challenging and you can collect a lot of powerful cards throughout the game not to mention a lot of achievement points as well.
In every great game, there are always downsides. Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers suffers from extremely annoying repetetive background music and confusing control scheme. You can’t virtually create your very own deck although you can edit some but that’s just about it.
Overall Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers is a pretty awesome game. For just $5, MTG is a must have for your Xbox 360.
