A perfect reason to talk to yourself!

The Evolution of Real-Time Strategy!

As Video Game progresses, so as the style of playing it. Real-Time Strategies before were simple Click, Build and Destroy. Then it progressed from that to Unit upgrades and so on.
Then Ubisoft created another evolution of RTS gaming, Tom Clancy’s Endwar. A new type of approach in Strategy. You are required to used Microphones/Headsets to complete your mission. There is no click and build in Endwar just plain Resource points and Controllable units such as Attack Helicopters, Missile Artillery, Tanks and Different types of soldiers at your disposal. You have to command your units thru a Voice Command system. Like in real life military tactics, you tell your men what to do and who to kill via Voice Command. You can perfect your english diction in Endwar because you have to properly say the commands to each unit like “Unit 1, Attack Hostile 3″ and then if said properly, Unit 1 will follow it accurately, kinda makes a player powerful you know.
The gameplay itself is just a Paper-Rock-Scissors system, each unit has a vital weakness, kinda boring actually but it doesn’t kill off the game easily. Graphics are good but not great, Visual art is quite dull if compared to such games as Command & Conquer Tiberium Wars and World in Conflict. Blanded colors can turn you off.

Story? What story? There’s a Story?
uhh, The book was good, intense story and all but are you sure the game has a story? The game story is quite messed up to be honest. It has the same characters from the book but the story isn’t anywhere near it. Believe me if you’re into story telling, Endwar will suck at it big time.
