I have been always a fan of Namco’s Galaga game ever since it was released for the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System AKA: Family Computer). Now Galaga was refurbished for the Xbox 360 available only for Xbox Live Arcade download and it costs about 800 MS Points ($10). Galaga Legions is now rendered in full High Definition 3D graphics. Special Effects, 3D rendering and texturing are superb, you can expect more eyecandy from this especially if you are using 720p to 1080i HDTV. Sounds are moderate and it’s tolerable, explosions and the soundtrack are mixed just right.

Gameplay can be extremely addictive, mixed with achievement points and chaotic explosive sequences. Whatever you had with the original version of Galaga, you’ll find it all here with much more power and challenging levels, even if you have unlocked all achievements, you will still find yourself playing this classic game. Galaga Legions is highly recommended for your Xbox 360 Hard Drive. Try the demo and you’ll understand what I’m blabbering about this game. You won’t expect less from Galaga, addictive, beautiful, and well worth your money.
